1. GENERAL RULES OF USE

1.1. Rules of use of the LTAL portal — www.ltal.lv (henceforth — LTAL portal) are determined by the rules, conditions, limitations, binding upon all users, including sanctions provided in the event of a failure to observe them.

1.2. Any internet user has the right to receive the services provided in the rules of use of the LTAL portal, provided they do not affect the rights of other persons.

1.3. Registration on the LTAL portal is possible with social media and email service passwords. This allows for the establishment of a photo profile.

1.4. LTAL retains the right to change the rules of use of the portal, publishing them at the following internet address:http://ltal.lv/lv/articles/portala-lietosanas-noteikumi. Internet users are obligated to read and observe these rules.

2. COPYRIGHTS AND THE PUBLIcation OF INFORMATION AND CONTENT

2.1. LTAL asks internet users - portal readers writing comments about our published articles and news, to observe courtesy, ethical and moral norms, refrain from advocating violence, hate or discrimination, distributing libelous orpersonally offensive information or conduct commercial advertising activities without clearance from the portal’s editors. If a comment does not observe any of the above set of rules, it may be deleted and the LTAL reserves the right to inform the respective authorities on possible violations of the law.

2.2. the placing of commercial links in LTAL portal comments is prohibited.

2.3. LTAL internet users acknowledge the presence of the LTAL portal on the world wide web of mass media, therefore when making public any kind of information, including intellectual property on the LTAL portal, that the Copyright law isn’t applicable to the information. The LTAL editors reserve the right to publish the information, including the author’s name, if noted. The submitters of such information do not have the right to demand any author’s remuneration for the use of their information in the portal. The submitters of the information are accountable for all of their activities in the portal should such activities be in violation of another’s copyright.

2.4. LTAL’s portal is not liable for any information republished by users that is sourced from other materials.

2.5. The materials submitted to and published in the LTAL portal are protected in accordance with the Copyright law of Latvia. Any republishing of the materials published here in the LTAL portal is categorically prohibited without the approval of the LTAL portal editors.

2.6. LTAL portal users may only use the provided content-entering services for non-commercial purposes.

2.7. The submitters of material to the LTAL portal affirm that they are the authors or that they have the necessary authors’ approval to submit this material.

2.8. Users of the LTAL portal resolve not to submit materials discordant with legislation and generally accepted rules of morality and ethics (such as pornographic content, depictions of violence, advocating use of alcohol and other drugs, etc.). Material must not contain advertising or have a commercial purpose.

2.9. The LTAL portal user is liable for any claims from the persons depicted in thematerial submitted and published with regard to copyright and neighboring rights violation.

2.10. The LTAL portal retains the right to delete any published materials with no advance notice.

2.11. LTAL is not liable for losses incurred if the user’s account and content, including the user’s uploaded files are inadvertently deleted or corrupted as a result of LTAL’s activities or in the event of a malicious or illegal hacking.
